Second Grade Homework:

Week of October 6, 2008

 

Monday:

Spelling:  Write each Spelling word 3 times each and put them in ABC Order.  The words are:  mark, star, park, far, bark, dark, car, jar, spark, shark.  The Challenge Words are:  can't and isn't

Reading:  Read our new story, "The Sun Is Always Shining Somewhere", to someone in your family this evening.

Math:  Complete the "Writing A Number Sentence" and "Clean-Up Day" Worksheets.

 

Tuesday :  

Spelling:  Use each word in a complete sentence and underline the word.

Reading:  Read "The Sun Is Always Shining Somewhere" again this evening.

Math: Complete "Counting Back" and "Sorry, Wrong Number" Worksheets.

Science:  Begin studying for your Science Test on Chapter 2, "Animals Grow and Change." Our test is on Thursday.

Wednesday

Spelling:  Use 6 of your Spelling Words in a short story and study for your Spelling Test.

Reading:  Complete the "Vocabulary Review" and "ABC Order" Worksheet.

Math:  Complete the "Thinking Doubles to Subtract" and "Sharing" Worksheets.

Science: Study Chapter 2 for your test tomorrow!

 No Homework!!
