PANTRY
With summer here, we would like to stockpile enough pantry supplies to carry us over the lean months when folks are on vacation and school is not in session. Though the contributions decrease in the summer months, the need does not. We continue to need all kinds of food, cleaning and personal items. We will publish a "wish list" that will indicate the items that are in particular need. This list will be updated as our needs change.

WISH LIST
We are most grateful to the St. Joseph's School staff, parents and students who responded so generously to an end of school year collection to help stock the food pantry for the summer months. They collected over 700 items to supply our shelves. We would also like to thank George and Marie Berard, Frank and Jeanne Visk and Joan Sheehan for sorting and organizing all of the donations.

COSTCO CARDS
Gift cards in any amount you choose are now available. It would be very advantageous to receive donations of these cards in order to purchase items in bulk to supplement our usual pantry supplies. Regular grocery store and drug store cards are still very much needed.

THE McKENNA CENTER
is a shelter in the lower level of St. Aloysius Church near the Capitol. It was started many years ago by the saintly Jesuit, Father Horace McKenna. St. Joseph's supports their efforts to help the homeless men who come to their door for food, clothing, and shelter with travel-size toiletries. (There are 60-80 per day.) We are always in need of travel-size deodorant, toothpaste, soap, razors, travel-size shampoo, small combs, toothbrushes, and new socks and new underwear (shirts and briefs), especially M and L-XL sizes. The men are most grateful for any efforts St. Joseph's makes. We also need men's summer clothes in good condition. Please leave any donations marked McKenna Center in the pantry/altar serving room located to the right as you enter the church at the main entrance.

We have an elderly very ill woman in need of Giant grocery cards and also X-L depends, the actual underpants type. Please put any cards for her marked "Mrs. S" in an envelope in the collection basket or poor box, and also mark the Depends "Mrs. S" in a bag. You can leave the depends in the pantry; we will see that they are delivered to her.

SHOEBOX GIFTS
Gift cards in any amount you choose are now available. It would be very advantageous to receive donations of these cards in order to purchase items in bulk to supplement our usual pantry supplies. Regular grocery store and drug store cards are still very much needed.
