150th Anniversary of the founding of the church and school.

MOTHER'S
DAY LUNCHEON
Knights of Columbus 2809 will have a luncheon on May 11th
at 1:00 pm to honor all Mother’s. The adult entrée
is Chicken Cordon Bleu, with potatoes and vegetables. The
kids entrée is Chicken Nuggets with French Fries, soda,
coffee and tea are included. Cash bar available. Cost is $15
per adult and $7 for Kids, Mother’s eat free. RSVP to

SUMMER
SCHOOL
St. Mark the Evangelist School: will have a 4 week academic
summer school program from June 23 – July 19. Classes
in Reading/Language Arts and Math are offered for students
having completed Kindergarten through Grade 6 this past school

BLOOD
DRIVE
The 2nd American Red Cross / Knights of Columbus Blood Drive
of 2008 will be held at the Prince George’s Council
#2809, 9450 Cherry Hill Rd., College Park, on Monday, May
12th. The Drive begins at 1:30 PM in the Fernandez Room of
our Council Home, and ends at 7:30 PM To make an appointment,
call Hugh O’Donnell, Tom Young or Dick Bissell. Please
help us make this drive a success and help the Red Cross prepare
for the Summer Vacation Season, when demand for blood is high
but donations fall to seasonal lows. Some Blood Types (MAYBE
YOURS!) are critically low now. You CAN help. Please Donate.
